Bio

İpek Burçak is a multidisciplinary artist born in Istanbul and based in Berlin. She studied media and conceptual art at the School of Arts Kassel and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She works with various media, such as video, sound, installation, performance, and publishing. With a speculative approach, she investigates the potentials of technologies as commons. She has further focuses on the intersections of neurodiversity and AI, and the legacies of resistance movements in publishing and beyond. She is one half of the publishing duo Well Gedacht Publishing that engages in publishing practices and open source ways of digital publishing.
